With a high-definition camera delivering 1280×960 video at 30 frames per second, the NX1 provides sharp, detailed images of every visitor — even in low-light conditions. Combined with clear two-way audio, you can see and speak to anyone at the door from anywhere in the world via the Commtel NEXUS app on your smartphone.

Powerful App-Based Management

The NX1 ecosystem includes two dedicated apps. The Commtel CONFIG app gives installers like ADP full control over system setup and commissioning, while the Commtel NEXUS app puts day-to-day management in the hands of the end user.

Through the NEXUS app, users can manage up to 500 individual users, set temporary access codes for visitors or deliveries, create scheduled access rules, view live video, and review a full activity log of every entry event. The system also supports cloud recording for up to 60 days, so you never miss a thing.

Built for Flexibility

Under the hood, the NX1 offers impressive versatility. With three programmable relays, it can control gates, doors, and auxiliary devices simultaneously. Six call divert numbers ensure that incoming calls always reach someone, and two auxiliary inputs allow integration with external sensors or triggers.
