ADP starts new coin collection service
26/9/2007

East Hampshire District Council has selected ADP Security Systems as the security firm entrusted with its coin collection requirements across the district.

The contract, which starts in October, will involve a high degree of logistics management to undertake coin collection from car parks in multiple locations in different towns, at different times of the day and night, on various days of the week. ADP has invested in new coin counting machinery and upgraded its own security precautions in preparation for the new contract, which will include delivery of the money and recording an audit trail.

Jon Sanders, facilities manager at East Hampshire District Council, explained: "ADP's team met all of the criteria for pre-qualifications through the OEUJ Tendering process, and after submitting a detailed tender, they were able to respond admirably to any extra questions we posed. Their locality also guarantees speed of response. We have a good working partnership already and their management structure gives us confidence that they can handle the challenges that lie ahead."

Having made a significant investment in time and equipment for this tender, ADP is also keen to offer its new "coin collection" service to other councils in the area. Enquiries are welcome at 01730 261510 or via www.adpsecurity.com.
