Gabem Group chooses ADP

The Gabem Group Ltd, a contract payroll services company based in Midhurst and Petworth, has selected ADP Security Systems Ltd (ADP) to provide manned guarding at two sites, for its existing and newly opened premises.
In March 2002, ADP began a new contract providing manned security at Gabem’s site in Heyshott near Midhurst. When Gabem expanded into new premises at Lodsworth near Petworth over the bank holiday on May 6th, ADP began to provide security services for the new site. Altogether The Gabem Group has 70 employees at the two sites.
The security officers provide a reliable, human presence at the premises and also hold keys for the company. Security is provided at all times when there are no staff on site.
Jill Miller, facilities manager for Gabem Group Ltd, explained: “We had existing alarm systems but due to the company’s very fast growth, we felt it important to introduce security officers to safeguard our premises all the time for the welfare of the company and our employees. Following a competitive tender process, we made a decision based not on price, but largely due to ADP being a local company.”
ADP Security Systems’ director, David Preston, commented: “The Gabem Group is an important new client for ADP, and part of our strategic plan to provide more manned guarding and related services to businesses in Sussex and the surrounding area.”
