24 hour security for Hampshire Equine Clinic
11/12/2005
An equine veterinary clinic for sport horses, the Hampshire Equine Clinic [near Alton], has selected ADP Security Systems Ltd to install an integrated security system taking in the offices, stables, paddocks and approaching road.
The driver for the new security was the Clinic’s problems with cars using the privately owned land as a ‘rat-run’ during the rush hour. Shane Fouhy, MRCVS, the proprietor explained: “We had to stop the problem of people rat-running between two local main routes as well as four-by-four drivers entering the land at weekends. The reputation of the Clinic is growing steadily and we have invested in security to keep the whole area private and quiet for the benefit of the horses and our staff.”
The security cover is a comprehensive package which includes a range of effective, yet unobtrusive systems including electric gates, CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarms, window shutters and door grilles.
The Clinic’s management added: “We have been thrilled with the service from ADP. Whenever we had an enquiry they responded straight away, which has been so refreshing.”
Alan Day, director of ADP Security Systems, said that although ADP’s main business has traditionally been in quality manned guarding services, this new contract is an example of the kind of total security solution now offered by the company.
