ADP protects property with multi-building alarm systems

Churcher’s College, an independent co-educational school for pupils from 4 to 18 years old, has upgraded its existing security cover with the implementation of a large-scale alarm system. The Junior School in Liphook and the Senior School in Petersfield are now fully covered by integrated systems. ADP Security Systems Ltd designed and installed the new system protecting the site buildings, some dating back to Victorian times.
Morgan Everett, an international automation systems company based in Liss, recently expanded its R&D activities and put in a new, integrated security and communications system for the offices and manufacturing site. ADP provided the security solution. In the event of any attempted break-in, the alarm systems are linked to ADP’s control room to enable a security patrol to respond immediately.
David Robbins, bursar for Churcher’s College, said: “Ours was a complicated system that required built-in flexibility for future growth. The physical security of property and equipment are integral to the business of the school, and safety and security are always top priorities for us.”
ADP already provides other security services for Churcher’s College. David Robbins said that the alarm work was awarded due to ADP’s enthusiasm, flexible approach and competitive tendering. He said: “A good working relationship has been established with ADP and we feel that they have generally enhanced our site security arrangements.”
Sue Clarke, director of Morgan Everett, said: “We knew the people at ADP and the company was also recommended by the local Chamber of Commerce. The different parts of the system had to be coordinated to go live at the same time and it is all working very well.”
