New security manager joins ADP
3/3/2005
Chris Mills has been recruited as the new security manager at ADP Security Systems in Petersfield. This new role has been created to redirect some of the workload from the existing operations team, who have become busier servicing an expanding portfolio of security customers and an influx of additional contracts.

Chris Mills will be responsible for managing the security officers providing ADP’s core business services. His role will include visiting customer sites during the day and nighttime, taking care of security officers’ welfare and checking work is to schedule.

The company’s growing team of security officers, based at a number of different sites across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Sussex, demands a new, dedicated security manager. Chris’ responsibilities will cover in-house training at each site, health & safety and reporting procedures. As security manager he will work with ADP’s directors to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Following a 24½ year career in the Royal Navy, Chris has spent eleven years working in security, from being a retail security guard to area supervisor and other supervisory roles in the industry. He says that he brings with him a different outlook on the security business, and a great deal of man-management experience having been in charge of a large number of people during his career.
