ADP embraces new technology & quality standards

Petersfield-based ADP Security Systems Ltd has added three quality standards to its name and made a significant investment in a cutting-edge, internet-based CCTV monitoring system, to further improve its service to clients.
The new technology, from Everfocus, allows ADP to watch client sites 24/7 directly from the desktop from any remote location. It gives ADP’s clients the added benefit of being able to log on to the system from anywhere in the world to see their own premises.
The digital surveillance software works in conjunction with cameras and computers via a broadband communications link, producing very clear, real-time images that can be accessed via the internet using confidential pass-codes. CCTV monitoring is continuously live at up to 60 frames per second enabling the most appropriate rapid response in the case of an emergency.
Dave Preston, director of ADP Security Systems explained: “A major benefit of this internet-based system is that a mobile security patrol can know exactly what is happening in the event of an alarm being triggered by a camera. The alarm alerts the ‘monitoring station’, which investigates the exact cause and lets the mobile patrol know in advance of attending the emergency.”
ADP has also recently been awarded three separate certificates for quality control and health & safety. Already, ISO registered, the company has now achieved the internationally recognized UKAS regulatory standard BS EN ISO 9001.
ADP is also accredited under the National Britannia Safe Contractor Scheme, which is concerned with standards of health & safety and risk assessment when managing a security contract. Thirdly, ADP has been accepted onto the Hampshire County Council Trading Standards ‘Buy with confidence’Scheme, which confirms its status as a good contractor based on references from existing customers.
